How about getting your team oozing positivity when they come back from a training programme?
Redemptorist Publications - Team Development Day
Ever since our team-building day in the beautiful woods at Lasham people have been coming up to me and thanking me for arranging it, and asking what's next!
From the start, it was fantastic to see how you put people at their ease and introduced the concept of working together to achieve great things almost without anyone noticing! People here are still talking about how two canes refused to move downwards despite everyone wanting them to, about helping each other along the wire and about making fire. There is a definite 'buzz' about the place, and we plan to capitalise on that and keep up the momentum.
Thank you for the planning that went into making the whole day work so well, for facilitating the whole thing brilliantly and for sharing with us your knowledge and expertise in such a friendly and approachable way. The twenty people who arrived at Lasham largely as individuals are now a much more close-knit team, who understand the importance of thinking of, and working together with, others.
Thank you, and very best wishes

Hi Gill,
Many thanks for the (telephone) conversation.
I just wanted to let you know that I'm really not surprised at all when you said that people opened up to you really well and spoke openly about themselves and teamwork.
I felt that you were really listening to me, it sounded as if you were really interested in my answers and me as a person. You gave me time and didn't rush at all. You made me feel very comfortable and not at all judging. I just wanted you to know that!
Hope you have a good afternoon,
Christina

"Living Life Learning was able to offer us a two day teambuilding programme completely relevant to the needs of our organisation. This was achieved though actively listening to our unique training requirements, providing us with clear options on how best to meet those training needs, and then delivering a package which included the right mix of activities and locations. At each step it felt that what we wanted was central, but that we also had a range of options from which we could choose.
The main benefit of the teambuilding training for the officers is that they emerged from the stresses and strains of Fresher's Week as a team.
One clear example of how they have used this training has been in their weekly team meetings. The first item on the agenda is a chance for officers to update the team on their area. However, since the teambuilding training, they have also used this as an opportunity to give each other positive individual feedback and celebrate team successes.
The benefit to the Students' Union is that the team have been much more able to provide coherent team strategies to the permanent members of staff. "

"A fun and interactive course. I felt like we learned a lot but in an organic rather than a forced way. We went in as a group and came out as a team and friends."

"We were impressed by the bespoke package we received which was tailored to both our needs as a company and also to the characters of the participants. This meant that the whole course was directed and focused and ensured everyone involved 'bought in' to the course. It gave the company the opportunity to focus on the participants as individuals rather than as teams. It gave the individuals concerned the chance to think about how they operate and the effect they have on others - we have seen an improved self awareness amongst the people who attended the course. The leadership and motivational skills of the attendees were put to the test shortly after the course when there was a general downturn in the economic climate. They rose to the challenge and have been a real positive force within the company - encouraging others to think positively and creatively and devising methods to pull their teams together (for example we are having a home made treasure hunt in the New Forest on Friday)."

"The day was tailored to work through known issues and bring out ones the team didn't realise they had and to do this in a very organic, safe way. It has started something we are fostering in the hope that it will continue throughout the current project and beyond. Thank you for meeting our needs in terms of something physical that wasn't just a fun day out but a day that was that and a project focussed day that produced real results!"

"I can honestly say that I really enjoyed it and would have loved to stay on for a few days longer. I really enjoyed all the different aspects of the course and enjoyed how challenging it was... it made it more rewarding and beneficial for all of us. I also enjoyed being able to challenge myself and not only see my own development but also everyone else's... and this gave me a lot more insight...as it enabled us to grow together. I found it very beneficial being new to the team, the relaxed atmosphere helped me to get to know everyone and feel really at ease and this also helped the team grow stronger."

Dear Gill,
This is Jai one of the students in the wood. It was very nice experience there. Study, fun, enjoyment. We handover our essay for 1000 words. I am sorry that I was not able to consult you previously just because of busy schedule. I will send you my essay after getting feedback from Heather and John. Please give me your valuable suggestions on my essay.
